West Ham United are allegedly now eyeing up a potential move to sign RB Leipzig ace Angelino this summer.

That’s according to a report from La Voz de Galacia who claim that the Hammers could sign the 25-year-old ex-Manchester City ace with RB Leipzig keen to move him on after the arrival of David Raum.

Ironically, West Ham were beaten by Leipzig to Raum.

Hammers boss David Moyes is clearly desperate to bolster his left-back ranks at the London Stadium this summer.

Aaron Cresswell has been a great servant for the club but he has regressed badly over the past six months or so.

And it seems as though Moyes has a plan in place, having frustratingly missed out on the signing of David Raum…

West Ham eyeing Angelino swoop

According to a report from La Voz de Galacia, who exclusively broke the news late last night, Moyes wants to bring the 25-year-old left-back to the London Stadium this summer.

Angelino can play as a left wing-back as well, so he’s ideally suited to what Moyes needs.

The Spaniard joined RB Leipzig on a permanent €18 million (£15 million) deal from Manchester City last summer (La Voz de Galacia), having spent the previous season on loan with the Bundesliga outfit.

We think that Angelino would be a fine addition for West Ham, especially if we manage to pick him up for a reasonable fee.

The 25-year-old bagged two goals and five assists in 29 Bundesliga games for Leipzig last season (Who Scored).

During those appearances, the Spaniard averaged one tackle, one interception and 1.1 clearances per match (Who Scored).

Angelino is highly energetic, possesses pace in abundance and has unbelievable technical ability at his disposal.

The Leipzig star would be a huge upgrade on Cresswell, that’s for sure.

West Ham could face competition for the signing of Angelino from Brighton and Hoffenheim according to La Voz de Galacia. So Moyes had better move fast if he wants his man.

Let’s hope that the Hammers get this one done this summer.
