West Ham United are interested in signing Lille ace Zeki Celik, according to a report from French media outlet Foot Mercato.

Hammers boss David Moyes bolstered his right-back options in the summer by bringing Vladimir Coufal to the London Stadium from Slavia Prague.
The Scot wants to sell backup right-back Ryan Fredericks according to Claret and Hugh, however.

So the addition of another right-back this month may well be needed if the 28-year-old former Fulham man is indeed moved on.
The Hammers may well have some money to spend now as well with Sebastien Haller closing in on a £23 million move to Ajax (L’Equipe).
This transfer window should at least be exciting now!
West Ham keen to sign Zeki Celik
Foot Mercato claims that £14 million-rated Lille ace Zeki Celik is on West Ham’s radar.

The 23-year-old has made 13 Ligue 1 appearances for Lille this season. In those matches, he has averaged 3.2 tackles, 1.8 interceptions, 1.5 clearances and 1.5 dribbles per game (Who Scored).
The 14-capped Turkey international is a very solid defender and he is useful going forward as well. He has plenty of pace and could be used as an orthodox right-back or a wing-back.
£14 million seems like decent value for Celik. Whether Moyes views the signing of a new right-back as a priority, however, remains to be seen.
In truth, there are probably more pressing priorities for the Scot.
