Hammers boss David Moyes could be looking to bolster his centre-back ranks at the London Stadium this summer.

Angelo Ogbonna is fast approaching 33 whilst the futures of Winston Reid and Fabian Balbuena are unclear to say the least.

Toffees manager Carlo Ancelotti will be keen to bring some central defensive reinforcements to Goodison Park as well.

Toro News claims that West Ham and Everton could battle out out for Torino centre-back Gleison Bremer.

The 23-year-old is valued at less than £10 million according to the Mirror.

Gleison Bremer a good signing for West Ham or Everton?

Both the Hammers and the Toffees have a great chance to secure themselves a real bargain transfer this summer.

Liverpool are all keen on the Brazilian (Mirror), however, so it seems as though there could be a real scrap for the Torino ace’s signature at the end of the season.

Bremer has been in fine form in Italy this season.

In 19 Serie A appearances this term, the Brazilian has scored four goals.

In those outings, the 6ft 2in centre-back has averaged 1.4 tackles, 2.1 interceptions, 4.3 clearances and 0.6 blocks per game. He has also won an average of 2.9 aerial duals per match (Who Scored).

Bremer is very comfortable with the ball at his feet as well. In 19 league games, the Torino defender has averaged 55.8 passes per match with a very impressive completion rate of 84% (Who Scored).

For under £10 million, the South American would be a very smart addition for either West Ham or Everton.

It remains to be seen whether Bremer will be plying his trade in East London or on Merseyside next season, however.
