West Brom want to sign West Ham centre-back Issa Diop on loan according to a report from The Sun on Sunday (December 20th, page 65).
In other news…West Ham January signing all but complete report claims
The 23-year-old defender joined the Hammers from Toulouse in the summer of 2018 for around £25 million (The Express).
Issa Diop initially really impressed at the London Stadium. Jose Mourinho offered huge praise for the West Ham ace, describing him as a monster who dominates in the air, as quoted by the Evening Standard.

The Frenchman regressed last season, however, and he has struggled to force his way back into the team this season after being forced to miss two weeks of action due to testing positive for Covid-19.
The Hammers are open to the idea of loaning Diop out for the rest of the season, or even selling him according to The Sun on Sunday (December 20th, page 65).
And West Brom are allegedly keen to sign the former Toulouse ace on loan up until the end of the season.

Baggies boss Sam Allardyce is apparently a big fan of the 23-year-old West Ham ace and wants to bring him to the Hawthorns in January.
Loaning out Issa Diop could very well be a smart move from West Ham. But only if we bring in another centre-back in January. Or even include Winston Reid in our squad list once again.
The Frenchman desperately needs a run of games to help get his confidence back.
And perhaps a loan move to West Brom in January would help him do just that.
