West Ham will have to pay a massive £40 million if they want to sign Sevilla striker Youssef En-Nesyri this month according to a report from the Guardian.
Hammers boss David Moyes absolutely must bring a new striker to the London Stadium this month.
It is now a matter of urgency.
West Ham have already been linked with a plethora of centre-forwards this month.
The latest name on the list of strikers to be linked with a move to the London Stadium is Youssef En-Nesyri.
According to a report from the Athletic, the 23-year-old forward is David Moyes’s ‘top transfer target’ this month.
The 35-capped Morocco international would be a very exciting addition for the Hammers.
The striker has racked up 12 goals in 25 games for Sevilla so far this term. (Transfermarkt). And he has been one of the standout players in La Liga.
It seems as though there is a very big problem, however.
West Ham must pay big if they want Youssef En-Nesyri
The Guardian claims that the Hammers will have to pay a minimum of £40 million if they want to bring the Sevilla ace to East London.
West Ham will obviously not be splashing out anything like that on one player this month, that’s for sure.
That’s not necessarily a bad thing, however. There is far better value to be had in the market for the Hammers. Patson Daka and Boulaye Dia are two obvious options who would cost a whole lot less than En-Nesyri.
Either one of those names would be great additions for West Ham. Let’s just hope that the Hammers board are prepared to back David Moyes this month rather than throwing him under the bus yet again.
