‘Ruthless’ David Moyes wants West Ham trio out in a complete attacking overhaul built around target Armando Broja.
Anyone watching West Ham for most of last season will recall just how badly the team struggled to score goals.
Well it seems David Moyes has big plans to do something about that.
There have been no such struggles during West Ham’s pre-season games so far.
Three matches against Boreham Wood, Perth Glory and Tottenham Hotspur have yielded 13 goals scored by the Hammers.
While it is encouraging, it is just pre-season.

And according to The Times, Moyes has a very clear idea about what he wants to do in the striking department in the summer transfer window.
The futures of Michail Antonio, Gianluca Scamacca and Danny Ings have looked uncertain as West Ham have been linked with a host of strikers.
With good reason it seems.
Because The Times reports that ‘ruthless’ Moyes wants the West Ham trio out in a complete attacking overhaul built around target Armando Broja.

The report states that Moyes is not happy with his three striker options. As a result the Scot is eyeing a younger and more consistent striker, which has brought him back to last summer’s target Broja.
The Times claims Antonio ‘will be allowed to leave’ amid talk of a move to Saudi Arabia.
It is claimed West Ham could also offload Scamacca, who scored a well-taken winner against Spurs, and ageing Ings, who also notched in the game.
Ings has been linked with a return to Southampton while Scamacca has been linked with a third of the clubs in Serie A including Roma.

The report does state that it’s unlikely all three will leave, especially with the Hammers in the Europa League again.
But ‘change is afoot’ and West Ham are serious about Broja becoming their new starter after he was left out of Chelsea’s tour of the US.
West Ham’s pursuit of Broja was one of the sagas of last summer’s window. But the Slough-born Albanian remained with Chelsea only to suffer an ACL injury which kept him out for most of the season.
Since then the Blues have signed strikers Christopher Nkunku and Nicolas Jackson.
