West Ham have received a huge boost this morning with the news that Manchester United are eyeing up a replacement for Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

According to a report from talkSPORT, Manchester United boss Erik Ten Hag is keen to bring Southampton full-back Kyle Walker-Peters to Old Trafford in the January transfer window, as he looks to move Wan-Bissaka on.

The 25-year-old has been a huge hit with Southampton since moving to St Mary’s from Tottenham back in 2019.

And with Man United boss Erik Ten Hag thought to be chasing Walker-Peters now, the door may well be wide open for the Hammers to nab Wan-Bissaka.

West Ham boss David Moyes has been heavily linked with a move to sign the Manchester United defender since the summer.

The Hammers face competition from the likes of Wolves in the race to sign the 25-year-old (Foot Mercato). However, if Moyes really wants Wan-Bissaka, there is no reason why we shouldn’t be able to beat Wolves to his signature.

And now there has been a huge boost for the Hammers…

Manchester United eye replacement for West Ham target

Red Devils boss Erik Ten Hag has repeatedly insisted that he is not willing to sell Wan-Bissaka unless he brings a replacement into the club before the transfer window closes.

Well, it seems as though that may now happen. talkSPORT claim that Southampton star Walker-Peters is on Man United’s radar.

If the 25-year-old arrives at Old Trafford, Wan-Bissaka will instantly become third choice right back, and a January move away from Manchester United will then be a necessity for the London-born ace.

Walker-Peters could be picked up for around £30 million according to The Daily Mail.

That would be good value for Manchester United, but it could end up being even better for West Ham, if we are able to sign Wan-Bissaka on the back of it.

The ex-Crystal Palace ace would be a huge upgrade on Vladimir Coufal and Ben Johnson at the London Stadium.

And it will be very interesting to keep a close eye on this one to see how it develops over the next week or so.
