Calcio Mercato claimed back in April that Hammers boss David Moyes wanted to bring the German World Cup winner to the London Stadium.
Sport Mediaset then claimed in August that West Ham were in discussions with Juve regarding an unnamed player. That man could well have been Khedira.

The 33-year-old ended up staying in Turin, however.
Bild now suggest that Khedira is desperate to leave the Old Lady in January.
So could West Ham go back in for the former Real Madrid midfielder?
Central midfield is certainly an area where the Hammers need to strengthen.

But Khedira’s age and recent injury problems should mean that we go nowhere near the Juventus man in January.
West Ham should be targeting younger players with potential.
Khedira is on £130,000 per week, according to Silly Season.
The last thing we need is to sign another ageing star who is past his best and would undoubtedly command extortionate wages. We have made this mistake so many times before.
The Hammers need to evolve into a more forward-thinking club. That means signing young, up and coming prospects with high ceilings. And unfortunately for Khedira, he doesn’t fit that profile whatsoever.
