West Ham United want to sign Marko Arnautovic on loan in January according to a report from The Mirror (January 3rd, page 72).
The east London outfit do already have two players on loan of course. So we would either have to send Craig Dawson back to Watford or make his temporary move to the London Stadium a permanent one this month.

The Austrian left the Hammers acrimoniously in the summer of 2019 to link up with Shanghai SIPG for around £22.4 million (BBC).
Marko Arnautovic finally got his wish having handed in two transfer requests previously and his relationship with the West Ham fans was seriously tainted.
He earns around £200k-a-week with Shanghai (BBC).
The Hammers have really missed the 85-capped Austria international since he left for China, however.

West Ham back in for Marko Arnautovic
The 31-year-old was a key player for the east London outfit. David Moyes converted him into a centre-forward during his first stint in charge at the London Stadium.
Arnie racked up 22 goals and 12 assists in 65 games for West Ham.
Since leaving east London, he has record 17 goals and four assists in 35 games for Shanghai SIPG (Transfermarkt).
The Mirror (January 3rd, page 72) claims that the Hammers could attempt to bring Marko Arnautovic back to West Ham on loan this month.
If Moyes did bring him back, it would be a move that would divide the fanbase.

Some long for the days of the enigmatic Austrian whilst others seethe with anger whenever his name is mentioned.
It could be a signing that works in the short-term, or it could end up being a complete waste of time. The forward will be 32 in April after all.
Almost all transfers involve at least a small amount of risk, however.
And perhaps this might just be one that West Ham should take a punt on this month.
