Report makes big Alex Scott claim as West Ham ramp up pursuit of Bristol City starlet
The Evening Standard claim that the Hammers have just held talks to sign Scott, although the outcome of those talks is unclear.
I would absolutely love to see the English teenager at the London Stadium – what a player he is, and let’s not forget, his age means that he still has many more levels to reach.
Total Football Analysis have labelled Scott as ‘incredible’.
He’s a central midfielder by trade but can operate further forward in the number 10 position or even out on the right wing if need be.
Scott bagged four goals and two assists in 38 Championship games for Bristol City in the 2021/22 season and this term, he has one goal and five assists to his name (Transfermarkt).

He is a really exciting talent and is exactly the kind of signing Moyes should be looking to make this summer.
The young midfielder glides along the turf with grace and panache, much like Manchester City star Jack Grealish does.
Scott possesses exceptional technical ability and in spite of his tenders years, he already has impressive physical strength, so seems to be ready for the Premier League.
The Evening Standard reckon that Bristol City will demand £25 million from West Ham for Alex Scott.
I actually think that will end up looking like brilliant value in a few year’s time, and Moyes shouldn’t hesitate to make it happen.
