Juventus reportedly want to sign West Ham ace Gianluca Scamacca if Chelsea win the race for Dusan Vlahovic this summer.

Gazzetta dello Sport claim that if Chelsea sign Dusan Vlahovic in the summer transfer window, Juventus will look to replace him with West Ham hitman Gianluca Scamacca.

Hammers boss David Moyes brought Scamacca to the London Stadium from Sassuolo in the summer of 2022 for around £30 million (The Independent).

However, the 24-year-old has struggled to settle with West Ham, and has been heavily linked with a summer exit from the club.

And it seems as though he could be set to return to his homeland, if Chelsea make a big signing of their own…

Gazzetta dello Sport reckon that Juve will look to sign Scamacca as a replacement for the 23-year-old Serbian, if he does in fact move to Stamford Bridge this summer.

Football Transfers recently described Vlahovic as ‘unplayable’, and despite his recent struggles with the Turin giants, he is still a very good striker.

The Daily Mail reckon that the former Fiorentina man will be up for grabs for around £70 million this summer.

If Juventus receive that kind of cash for the Serb, they will surely be able to tempt West Ham into selling Scamacca with a lucrative offer.

The thing is, if the Hammers owners have the chance to recoup what they paid for Scamacca, they will most likely sell him due to the fact that he doesn’t suit David Moyes’s system one little bit.

I actually believe that the 24-year-old is a really good striker, and has a lot of talent that seems to be going to waste at the London Stadium.

If West Ham brought in a younger, most forward thinking manager with progressive, innovative ideas, I believe Scamacca would flourish in East London.

However, if Chelsea sign Dusan Vlahovic this summer, it seems as though we might never see the best of the Italian in a West Ham shirt.
