According to a report from Yeni Asir, Galatasaray have initiated contact with West Ham United defender Fabian Balbuena ahead of a potential summer move to sign the Paraguayan on a free transfer.

The 29-year-old Hammers centre-back is out of contract at the London Stadium in the summer.
Balbuena has been a decent servant for West Ham since joining from Corinthians in the summer of 2018 for around £3.6 million (Transfermarkt).
The centre-back is no more than a decent player, however. And moving him on this summer might just be the right call from the Hammers.

Balbuena has been a dependable member of David Moyes’s squad.
If the West Ham boss has the chance to upgrade on the Paraguay international in the summer, however, he absolutely should do it.
The Hammers obviously won’t get any kind of fee for The General.
