He showed that last night at Turf Moor against Burnley, winning an incredible 17 aerial duels – more than any other Premier league player has done this season.
The 26-year-old warrior has certainly added some steel to the West Ham side.
He is an absolutely vital player for us, especially during tough away games against teams with a direct playing style. He has much more to his game than just strength in the air, however.
He is one of the most energetic, hard-working midfielders in the game. The Czech ace has scored 12 goals in 50 games for West Ham as well!

Soucek is a hugely popular figure at the London Stadium. And his die for the cause attitude during his performance last night would have endeared himself to the Hammers faithful even further still.
