According to a report from RMC Sport’s live transfer feed (January 14th, 14:31), super agent Willie McKay is helping broker a deal for Stade Reims hitman Boulaye Dia to join West Ham United this month.
In other news…Report claims West Ham are now in negotiations to sign striker for £18m
The Hammers have been chasing the 24-year-old Senegal International since Sebastien Haller left the London Stadium to join Ajax last week.
In fact, West Ham’s interest in Dia was first reported in December by 90 Min.
Those claims were then backed up by ExWHUemployee a few days later.
The Evening Standard then claimed that the Hammers had actually opened talks to sign the striker.

West Ham closing in on Boulaye Dia?
RMC Sport now suggest that Willie McKay is acting as an intermediary to help smooth over the deal that would see the Stade Reims hitman move to the London Stadium.
Hammers fans will know McKay well.
He performed a similar role when we signed Sebastien Haller from Eintracht Frankfurt 18 months ago, according to L’Equipe.

Things didn’t work out for Haller in east London. All the signs are that Boulaye Dia would be a great signing for West Ham, however.
The Sun claims that the 24-year-old could be picked up for just £10 million in January.
That would represent excellent value for the Hammers. David Moyes quite simply has to get this one done as soon as possible. Let’s just hope that Willie McKay ends up helping rather than hindering our chances of landing Dia this month.
