West Ham United are making strong moves to sign Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham according to a report from Tutto Mercato Web.
Hammers boss David Moyes must sign at least one top class centre-forward this summer.
In truth, we need two really, but beggars can’t be choosers.
One of the names to have been persistently linked with a move to the London Stadium is Chelsea hitman Tammy Abraham (Eurosport).
In fact, ExWHUemployee claims that the 23-year-old is David Moyes’s number one centre-forward transfer target.
Tammy would be a top class addition for the Hammers.
West Ham ramping up their pursuit of Chelsea ace Tammy Abraham
The Hammers are now making ‘strong moves’ to sign the 23-year-old centre-forward according to a report from Tutto Mercato Web.
Abraham is absolutely perfect for West Ham. He is quick, possesses impressive movement and is a very good finisher.
Joe Cole raved about Tammy when speaking on BT Sport 1 (2:38pm, 21 November), describing him as a ‘brilliant’ striker.
The Hammers should be going all out to bring him to East London this summer.
One big problem for West Ham, however, is Chelsea’s alleged £40 million valuation of the Englishman (the Telegraph). We just won’t be signing him if they truly want that much.
Let’s hope that the Blues drop their valuation of Abraham, because he clearly doesn’t have a future at Stamford Bridge under Thomas Tuchel.
If West Ham could pick the 23-year-old up for closer to £20-25 million, it would be fantastic business for us.
We highly doubt that Chelsea would do business for that kind of fee, however. So the Hammers may well end up missing out on Tammy in the summer.
