According to a report from Turkish media outlet Sabah, West Ham United are lining up a £13 million summer bid for Besiktas striker Cyle Larin.

Hammers boss David Moyes will be desperate to bolster his centre-forward options at the London Stadium in the summer.

With Michail Antonio as our only current senior centre-forward, the Scot should really be trying to bring at least two strikers to the London Stadium this summer.

Hopefully the West Ham board are prepared to sufficiently back David Moyes in the transfer market.

The Super Lig outfit are allegedly prepared to let him go for around €15 million (£13 million).

West Ham renew Cyle Larin interest

West Ham have been keen on the 25-year-old striker before.

We had a £9 million bid rejected for the 31-capped Canada international in January (Sabah).

Larin has been in fine form for Besiktas this season. He has 16 goals and three assists to his name in 30 games so far (Transfermarkt).

He also has a decent career goalscoring record with 85 goals for club and country to his name in 209 games (Tranmsfermarkt).

The Canadian would not be a bad addition for West Ham. He is far from a proven commodity in the Premier League, however.

Perhaps the Hammers would be better served in signing someone with more of a proven track record either in England or one of the more established European leagues.
