El Desmarque have claimed that West Ham United have made a ‘dizzying offer’ for Sevilla striker Youssef En-Nesyri.
Unfortunately for the Hammers, however, the Morocco International has no interest in moving to the London Stadium.
West Ham boss David Moyes is frantically searching for a new striker having sold Sebastien Haller to Ajax earlier this month.
The Hammers have cast their net far and wide but as things stand, it has been a fruitless search.
Sevilla striker Youssef En-Nesyri is a name that keeps popping up.
El Desmarque have bad news for Hammers fans today, however. It is claimed that West Ham have made a dizzying offer for the 23-year-old – somewhere in the region of €40 million (£35.5 million).
The Morocco international has no interest in moving to the London Stadium, however (El Desmarque).
West Ham hit Youssef En-Nesyri dead end after failed offer?
The Athletic describe En-Nesyri as a clinical poacher. He would be a great addition for the Hammers.
The Moroccan has racked up 16 goals in 27 games for Sevilla so far this term (Transfermarkt).
At 23, En-Nesyri is at a great age to make the step up to the Premier League from La Liga.
It seems as though West Ham are going up a blind alley in their pursuit fo the Sevilla ace, however.
It could be argued that this is yet another ‘we tried’ from the board. They know the player doesn’t want to come so will keep pushing for him under the guise of ‘trying’ to back David Moyes.
It will be interesting to see what happens if En-Nesyri changed his mind and wanted to join West Ham!
