AS claims that the Hammers are ready to pounce with Granada unable to afford the €20 million (£17 million) option they have to buy the Venezuelan from Man City this summer.

The 23-year-old has has really impressed on loan with Granada, racking up 10 goals and five assists in 77 games (Transfermarkt).
With the strength in depth Pep Guardiola has at his disposal at the Etihad, it is unlikely that Herrera has much of a future with Manchester City.
The 23-year-old Venezuela international is an athletic and energetic midfield player. He has great quality in possession of the football as well.
He would be an exceptional addition for West Ham. This one the Hammers should be all over in the summer.
