West Ham United are now the front-runners in the race to sign striker Emmanuel Dennis from Watford in the summer transfer window.
That’s according to a report from The Daily Mail who claim that Nottingham Forest have walked away from the race, leaving West Ham with a free run at the 24-year-old forward.

The Mirror reckon that Watford are demanding around £20 million for the Nigeria international.

And it seems as though Moyes wants to bolster his attacking ranks even further still…
West Ham front-runners to sign Watford striker
The Hammers are leading the race to prise Emmanuel Dennis away from Watford.
We think the 24-year-old would be a very smart addition for the Hammers for just £20 million and he would provide very solid competition and cover for Michail Antonio and Scamacca.
He is exactly the kind of striker David Moyes usually likes.
Dennis bagged 10 goals and six assists in 33 Premier League games for Watford last season (Transfermarkt).
He is a constant menace for opposing defenders and possesses a fantastic work-rate.
West Ham fans will know all about Dennis. He scored against us with a brilliant strike at Vicarage Road earlier this season.

£20 million seems like a reasonable fee for West Ham to pay for the Nigerian. It is worth noting that he can play on either wing as well as through the middle.
So what are the Hammers waiting for?
With the report claiming that West Ham are front-runners to sign the Watford striker, hopefully Moyes can wrap this one up immediately.
And with Scamacca en route to the London Stadium as well, West Ham could have some really strong forward options next season.
