Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane has been ruled out until April and it could be bad news for West Ham United.
Tottenham have confirmed that Kane will undergo surgery to repair a ruptured tendon in his hamstring and is expected to miss the next three months.
And that could have grave consequences for West Ham in the transfer market.
West Ham ‘have tabled bid’ for Piatek
According to reports from Italy, West Ham have reignited interest in AC Milan forward Krzysztof Piatek (Sport Mediaset).
It comes a year after Piatek snubbed West Ham for Milan after the Hammers had a £35million bid accepted by Genoa (as Hammers News reported at the time).
Poland star Piatek is on the transfer market following the return of Zlatan Ibrahimovic to the San Siro.
Sport Mediaset says West Ham have tabled a bid in the region of £25million.
But Kane’s injury has seen Tottenham leapfrog West Ham to the front of the queue.

According to reports from Italy as well as The Guardian, Tottenham are prepared to pay the full £30m asking price for Piatek.
The 24-year-old striker started life at Milan with a bang.
But he has struggled with just five goals in the last six months.
