West Ham United have reportedly had a £35 million bid for Genoa striker Krzysztof Piatek accepted.

West Ham are facing up to losing Marko Arnautovic to a mega money move to China.

Arnautovic’s agent and brother Danijel told talkSPORT that the West Ham talisman has made his mind up and wants to leave.

Arnie wants out

The Hammers have taken a hardline stance and issued a short statement insisting their talisman is not for sale.

It comes after Arnautovic was the subject of a £35million bid from a Chinese club – believed to be Shanghai SIPG (Sky Sports).

West Ham won’t start negotiations at anything less than £50million, though.

West Ham bid accepted for Piatek

And according to a new report from Italy overnight it seems West Ham are already spending the money.

That’s because Sportitalia claim the Hammers have had a £35million bid accepted for Piatek. The Poland international has scored a remarkable 19 goals in 21 games for for Genoa but 19 of those were starts in what is his debut season in Italy.

The goal-a-game star would be a massive coup for Manuel Pellegrini.

Deal hinges on Milan agreement

But Sportitalia claims the deal hinges over a gentleman’s agreement Genoa have with AC Milan, as reported by Football Italia.

Milan are set to lose loan striker Gonzalo Higuain to Chelsea. And the Serie A giants have first option on Piatek IF they can match West Ham’s bid.

Furthermore Milan want Chelsea’s Michy Batshuayi on loan which could pave the way for West Ham to seal the deal.

Siigning Piatek would be a clear indication Arnautovic is set to leave.

But at 23 Piatek would be an astute signing to prove West Ham mean business and are building something under Pellegrini.
