Alleged West Ham target Luka Jovic is done at Real Madrid according to a report from Marca.
Caught Offside reported late last night that Hammers boss David Moyes has made an enquiry to bring the 23-year-old Los Blancos ace to the London Stadium from the Santiago Bernabeu on loan with an option to buy.
West Ham are desperate to sign a new striker.
Sebastien Haller has left for Ajax, leaving Michail Antonio as the Hammers’ only recognised senior centre-forward.
Caught Offside claims that Real Madrid ace Luka Jovic is an option to solve West Ham’s current striking woes. The east London outfit have allegedly made an enquiry for the Serbia international.
West Ham target Luka Jovic finished at Real Madrid?
And now Marca claims that Jovic is finished at Madrid because he no longer has the trust of manager Zinedine Zidane.
The 23-year-old would be a fantastic addition for West Ham despite the fact that he has struggled in the Spanish capital.
If we do sign the Serbian it will just be a shame that we didn’t pair him up with his old mate Sebastien Haller.
Whatever happens, West Ham need to get a top class striker in before the end of the month. We need two if we’re being honest.
Luka Jovic could be just the man for the job. If we do sign the Madrid ace, however, it will be vital that David Moyes sets up his team to suit to the former Eintracht Frankfurt ace.
We all know what happened with his old teammate Haller.
Let’s hope there’s some legs in this one. The Serbian could be a truly top class signing for the Hammers.
