Al Ain want to sign West Ham United winger Felipe Anderson on loan according to a report from Foot Mercato.
The 27-year-old has experienced a shocking run of form over the past 12-18 months.
Anderson joined the Hammers from Lazio in the summer of 2018 for around £34 million (The Times).
The Brazilian made a great first impression at the London Stadium, racking up 10 goals and five assists during his debut campaign in England.
His form has taken a nose dive since then, however.
West Ham days numbered for Felipe Anderson?
The 27-year-old joined FC Porto on loan in October. He has experienced similar problems win Portugal, however.
Anderson, who earns around £80,000 per week according to Sky Sports, has hardly played for Porto and he now seems to be in limbo.
Foot Mercato claims that UAE side Al Ain want to sign the South American on loan but are not willing to pay a fee to West Ham.
That kind of deal will clearly not suit the Hammers considering our financial plight.
David Moyes would be better off bringing him back to the London Stadium and using him during the second half of the season.
Should a decent offer come in for Felipe Anderson, however, it will be a different story. Moyes clearly isn’t a big fan of the former Lazio winger. And as things stand, what the future holds for the Hammers ace remains very much mystery.
