Agents have offered 10-capped France star Jonathan Clauss to West Ham in a late window deal according to new reports.
West Ham have been in the market for a new right-back in the January transfer window.
The Hammers have been linked with a host of players with Ben Johnson’s future unclear and no quality back-up for the ageing Vladimir Coufal.
David Moyes has a huge second half of the season on the horizon with his contract up in the summer as things stand.
The Hammers are right in the mix for the Premier League’s top six and in the last 16 of the Europa League.

Agents offer Clauss to West Ham in late deal
And a fifth-placed finish would likely be rewarded with a Champions League place.
West Ham’s search for a right-back has not turned up any results. But now one may have found them instead.
Because agents have offered 10-capped France star Jonathan Clauss to West Ham in a late window deal.
The Marseille right-back is 31-years-old. So he hardly fits the recruitment philosophy of technical director Tim Steidten.
He is a guaranteed starter for Marseille but has seen his commitment to the club questioned after recently claiming he was injured only for tests to show he wasn’t.

Wrong side of 30 but an energetic attacking right-back
And now L’Équipe claim the France international has been offered to West Ham through intermediaries.
“An undisputed starter under Gennaro Gattuso, Clauss has enjoyed a strong season with Marseille, which has not only consolidated his position as a key player at the club but also seen him earn back his position in the France squad ahead of EURO 2024,” the report states.
“Clauss did not train with Marseille on Tuesday, with the club exploring the possibility of selling the defender. OM are leaning on intermediaries, who have offered Clauss to Galatasaray, who are looking for a replacement for Sacha Boey, and West Ham.”
He may be the wrong side of 30, but Clauss is an energetic attacking right-back who contributes goals and assists.
This season alone he has already scored three times and laid on eight goals for teammates in 30 appearances across all competitions for club and country.
