One West Ham United player allegedly could leave to join a club with real European pedigree in January.
David Moyes is expected to bring a couple of players into the club in the January transfer window, but one West Ham player could leave as well it seems.
Hammers winger Said Benrahma could be on his way to Marseille in the January transfer window, according to a report from L’Equipe.
The 28-year-old has bagged 24 goals and 19 assists in 153 games for the Hammers since moving to the London Stadium in October 2020 (Transfermarkt).
However, Benrahma has been in woeful form for West Ham this season with no goals and just one assist to his name in 20 outings (Transfermarkt).
His form has been so poor this season that Algeria haven’t even called him up for their AFCON campaign.
And now it seems like he could be on his way out of the London Stadium…

West Ham player could leave this winter
L’Equipe are claiming that Marseille are in for Benrahma, and the 28-year-old could well be moved on according to the French publication.
Listen, I wouldn’t be shocked one little bit if he wasn’t a West Ham player by the time the 2024/25 season begins.
He has been a shadow of his former self this season and seems to be totally devoid of any kind of confidence whatsoever.
However, I’m not sure Moyes will be prepared to let him leave in January, given the fact that we are about to lose Mohammed Kudus for at least a month as he jets off for AFCON.
As mentioned earlier, Benrahma has been appalling for the Hammers this season, but he will be an option for Moyes in the absence of Kudus at the very least.
The West Ham player definitely could leave this winter, but I would be surprised if he did, and it will surely take a big offer from Marseille to make it happen.
It’s more than likely that he’ll be moved on in the summer transfer window in my opinion.
