Pablo Zabaleta drops Sergio Aguero / West Ham hint

Pablo Zabaleta suggested that he might just try and convince Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero to join West Ham United this summer, when speaking on the All To Play For podcast.

The 32-year-old Argentinian legend is out of contract with Man City in the summer and has already announced that he will be leaving the Etihad.

Aguero is fourth on the all-time Premier League goalscoring charts with 181 goals to his name.

The Argentina international, who earns £230k-a-week at City (Spotrac) has scored an incredible 257 goals in 385 games since moving to the Etihad in 2011 (Transfermarkt).

With West Ham boss David Moyes in desperate need of a new striker this summer, some Hammers fans have been discussing the potential of possibly bringing Aguero to the London Stadium next season.

Pablo Zabaleta may advise Sergio Aguero to join West Ham

We think there is absolutely no chance of that happening. Let’s make that very clear.

Nevertheless, popular former West Ham ace Pablo Zabaleta told the All To Play For podcast that he might just recommend a move to the London Stadium to the Man City star:

“He knows that! I met him a couple of times when I was at West Ham and I enjoyed the life in London so much. Maybe, if I speak to Sergio again! Maybe West Ham can make the Champions League this season the way they’re playing.”

You just never know in football. It would be a truly massive shock if Sergio Aguero rocked up at West Ham in the summer, however.

A four-time Premier League winner, Aguero is one of the all-time great strikers.

It must be said that his legs seem to have gone, however. He would be on huge wages and bringing him to east London would be a big risk from David Moyes.

A return to his homeland will probably be a likely move for Aguero this summer.

It would be silly to say that the 32-year-old wouldn’t be an exciting addition for West Ham, however, if he did end up moving to the London Stadium.
