Liverpool have allegedly made a concrete move to sign West Ham United target Jhon Duran from MLS side Chicago Fire.
That’s according to a report from the Daily Mail who claim that Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is desperate to bring the 19-year-old to Anfield in the January transfer window.
The Hammers manager is clearly keen to bolster his attacking ranks with some quality players with pace and speed in abundance.

Look no further than Jhon Duran, he is a truly exceptional young talent.
It seems as though West Ham have no chance of singing him now though, after Liverpool made their move…
Liverpool make concrete Jhon Duran move
The likes of the Daily Mail reckon that Klopp is making advances for the young Chicago Fire forward.
And because of that, it’s time for West Ham to chalk this one up as a loss in my opinion, and move on to other targets.
The 19-year-old Colombia international is on the radars of a whole host of Premier League clubs, but it appears as though Liverpool are in the strongest position to obtain his signature.
The young attacker is a real talent and seemingly has everything needed to succeed on the world’s biggest stage. He is a centre-forward by trade but can also operate as a left winger.

Duran has bagged eight goals and six assists in 30 games for Chicago Fire this season (Transfermarkt).
The South American possesses blistering pace and has really impressive strength for someone so young.
He is obviously still incredibly raw and rough around the edges. It’s clear to see in some players that they have what it takes though. And the Colombian undoubtedly has something special about him.
Unfortunately for West Ham, it seems as though Jhon Duran could be on his way to Liverpool imminently. And that will very much be their gain and our loss.
