West Ham would be securing a real transfer coup this summer if we manage to beat Tottenham to the signing of Torino ace Wilfried Singo.

Both West Ham and Tottenham are allegedly keen to sign the 21-year-old right back this summer according to the likes of Gazzetta dello Sport (print edition April 26th, page 18) and Tuttosport.

Tuttosport suggested that Spurs manager Antonio Conte is ‘in love with Singo’. And then Tuttosport‘s print edition on 20th April 2022 claimed that Tottenham were ready to make a bid for the Ivory Coast international.

Let’s hope that West Ham manage to win the race for the young right-back’s signature though.

What an incredible signing he could end up being for the Hammers. Vladimir Coufal will be 30 later this year whilst Ryan Fredericks will be out of contract at the London Stadium in the summer.

Moyes does have Ben Johnson amongst his ranks of course but we believe he always plays better when operating at left-back and he could even slot into central defence at some point in the near future.

West Ham beating Tottenham to Wilfried Singo would be a real coup

Whilst it could be hard to beat Spurs to Singo’s signature, there is every chance we could make it happen.

Especially if we win the Europa League and subsequently qualify for the Champions League. Tottenham, meanwhile, have their work cut-out if they are to finish in fourth and qualify for Europe’s premier competition.

At 21, Singo has the world at his feet. If the Ivorian continues to work hard and applies himself properly both on and off the pitch, he will undoubtedly become a real star.

We believe that the Ivory Coast international would be a very exciting addition for whichever club wins the race for his signature in the summer.

He has been described as a ‘defensive sensation’ by Cult of Calcio.

Singo has bagged three goals and four assists in 32 Serie A games for Torino so far this season. During those appearances, the 21-year-old has averaged 1.6 tackles and 1.3 clearances per match (Who Scored).

The young right-back is a real talent. He is strong, has pace in abundance and is always up for a physical battle with opposing attackers.

Singo seems to be perfectly suited to the robust and ferociously paced nature of Premier League football. Standing at 6ft 3in tall, he is a proper unit as well.

Gazzetta dello Sport reckon that the 21-year-old is valued at around £25 million by Torino. That sounds like superb value and the Hammers should be all over it.

And it could be even sweeter for West Ham if we manage to beat Tottenham in the race to sign Wilfried Singo in the summer.
