Hammers boss David Moyes is on the look-out for at attacking midfielder.

The Scot’s priority is to bring Jesse Lingard back to the London Stadium from Manchester United on a permanent basis.

If he fails with that, however, CSKA ace Vlasic is a target for the West Ham boss (Eurostavka).

And it appears as though the Hammers have a great chance of signing the 26-capped Croatia international this summer.

Vlasic asks for West Ham move

That’s according to Championat who suggest that the 23-year-old has asked his club for permission to move to the London Stadium this summer.

Eurostavka claims that Vlasic could be available for around £20 million this summer. If he tries to force through a move, CSKA may well just want to get rid as soon as possible.

The Croatian would actually be a very smart addition for West Ham.

The 23-year-old has been in fine form in Russia scoring 12 and 13 goals respectively in his last two seasons with CSKA (Transfermarkt).

He is technically gifted and has an engine that will undoubtedly prove to be attractive to Moyes.

Vlasic would provide Moyes with a totally different option in the final third and the Croatian would offer the Hammers great strength in depth in the attacking midfield department.

Much will depend on whether or not Moyes manages to bring Lingard to East London, however.
