Nathan Trott is set to leave West Ham on loan to link up with French side Nancy according to a report from The Daily Mail.

The 22-year-old goalkeeper is highly rated at the London Stadium.
There were calls for him to be made our third choice stopper this season.
If Trott does end up joining Nancy, however, the chances of Alphonse Areola moving to West Ham will surely increase.

If the 22-year-old does leave this summer, that will at least free up some space in the squad for West Ham to sign the PSG goalkeeper.
Darren Randolph would then be relegated to the number three stopper whilst Lukasz Fabianski would be left to battle it out with Areola for the number one spot.
The French goalkeeper would be an excellent addition for the Hammers.
He really impressed last season whilst on loan in England with Fulham.
Areola is a fine shot-stopper and is exceptional with the ball at his feet. He could be available for around £20 million this summer (The Sun). That’s great value as far as we’re concerned.

Nathan Trott has a great future, but his temporary exit will be a good thing for him and West Ham in more ways than one.
