West Ham United manager David Moyes has settled on a prime forward target for the summer transfer window it seems.
The upcoming summer transfer window will be a vitally important one for David Moyes, with numerous additions needed at West Ham.
The Hammers boss desperately needs to bolster his front-line, with the addition of a versatile attacker quite simply a must this summer.
And according to Tutto Juve, West Ham have already made contact to sign Genoa ace Albert Gudmundsson ahead of the summer transfer window.
Moyes tried to bring the 35-capped Iceland international to the London Stadium in January, but failed to do so in the end.
However, it now seems like the Scot will make another attempt to prise Gudmundsson away from Genoa in the summer…

Moyes wants to sign attacker for West Ham in the summer transfer window
The 26-year-old has been on fire for Genoa this season, with 11 goals and three assists to his name in 23 games so far (Transfermarkt).
He can play anywhere along the front-line, possesses absolutely blistering pace and has real output inside the final third.
Gudmundsson is a very good dribbler, has impeccable technical ability and possesses a wicked delivery (Breaking the Lines).
He is at his best when operating in the number 10 position or out on the left wing, and he’d add some real variety to our attacking play.
Calcio Mercato claimed back in January that Genoa would demand around £22 million for the Icelandic ace.
That sounds like great value to me, and I’d be more than happy if Moyes brought Gudmundsson to West Ham for that kind of fee in the summer transfer window.
One thing’s for sure, Moyes cannot allow another window to pass by without adequately strengthening his squad. And the 26-year-old would be a superb addition to the Scot’s ranks as far as I’m concerned.
