Matheus Pereira would be a truly exceptional signing for West Ham United this summer.

In other news…Report: West Ham want striker who’s scored just four Premier League goals this season

Hammers boss David Moyes is expected to be a very busy man in the transfer market this summer.

The Scot’s first priority will be to bring a top class striker to the London Stadium.

West Ham also need to sign a central midfielder, a left-back, a goalkeeper and a centre-back.

It seems as though the Hammers are in the market for a creative, attack-minded midfielder as well.

Matheus Pereira would be a sensational addition for West Ham

The Express claims that Moyes wants to bring the 25-year-old West Brom ace to East London this summer.

And what a truly exceptional addition he would be for the Hammers.

The fleet-footed play-maker has pulled the strings all season long at the Hawthorns.

He has racked up 11 goals and six assists in 33 Premier League games this term (Transfermarkt).

Pereira possesses a wicked delivery from set-pieces as well.

He absolutely ran the show against West Ham on Wednesday night. So the Hammers fans will be well aware of the Brazilian’s quality.

The Mirror claims that Pereira could be available for around £20 million this summer.

Considering his quality, that would represent tremendous value for West Ham.

Sure, signing an attacker won’t be David Moyes’s priority this summer. You can never have too many good players, however.
