Signing Martin Terrier from Rennes in the summer transfer window is allegedly now a priority for West Ham United.
That’s according to a report from L’Equipe who claim that the 25-year-old forward is a ‘recruitment priority’ for Hammers boss David Moyes.

West Ham are allegedly battling it out with Leeds for Terrier’s signature this summer.
The Hammers are believed to be close to signing Armando Broja from Chelsea and are still keen on bringing Gianluca Scamacca to the London Stadium as well according to Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth.

Moyes is clearly very keen to bolster his attacking ranks this summer. And it seems as though the Scot is eyeing yet another addition to his forward line at the London Stadium…
West Ham view Martin Terrier as a priority signing
The Hammers are very keen indeed to bring the 25-year-old Rennes ace to East London this summer. In fact, signing him is viewed as a main priority for Moyes according to a report from L’Equipe.
Terrier would be superb for West Ham.
The Ligue 1 outfit will allegedly demand around €40 million (£34 million) for the Frenchman (L’Equipe).
Terrier bagged 21 goals and four assists in 37 Ligue 1 games for Rennes last season (Transfermarkt).
Much like his name suggests, the Frenchman is a hard-working, tenacious forward. He has bags of pace, is a good finisher and is very strong in the air.

Terrier is also very good when playing with his back to goal, holding up the ball and bringing his teammates into the game.
The Rennes ace can play anywhere along the front-line and that makes his £34 million price-tag seem like really good value.
Nayef Aguerd obviously knows the 25-year-old very well indeed and it would be interesting to know whether the Moroccan has recommended his ex-teammate.
With West Ham allegedly eyeing Terrier as a priority signing, there is every chance that Aguerd has vouched for the Rennes attacker.
The only thing we will say is that if Moyes brings Broja and/or Scamacca to the London Stadium, it’s highly doubtful that he will sign Terrier as well, despite the fact that the Rennes ace can play out wide as well as though the middle.
