Marko Arnautovic is willing to take a significant pay cut in order to join West Ham United according to club insider ExWHUemployee.
In other news…Report: Moyes wants £30m striker who hasn’t scored or won against West Ham in 10 attempts
The Hammers have been persistently linked with a move to re-sign the Austrian over the past few weeks by Tutto Mercato Web and of course ExWHUemployee.
Arnie left the London Stadium in the summer of 2019 after handing in two transfer separate transfer requests.
The 87-capped Austria international quickly went from hero to villain. And the West Ham fans don’t forgive and forget easily.

Marko Arnautovic prepared to take wage cut
The 32-year-old striker joined Shanghai Port (previously known as Shanghai SIPG) for around £22 million on a contract worth £200k-a-week two years ago according to The Daily Mirror.
Arnautovic could be prepared to take a pay cut in order to rejoin West Ham, however, according to club insider ExWHUemployee:

“I have heard that Arnautovic is prepared to take a reduction in his wages to come back and he does want to come back to the club.”
Some fans will want the Austrian back. Others will never ever forgive Arnie for the way he treated the football club, however.
On a free transfer, Arnautovic would definitely be able to do a job for West Ham.
If David Moyes signs someone like Adam Hlozek, bringing in Arnie as well would make a lot of sense.
It will just be a case of whether the Hammers fans welcome him back with open arms or not.
And the jury is very much out on that.
Perhaps it would be better to focus on making some top class signings first before we even consider bringing Arnie back.
