Manuel Lanzini could be set for a reunion with Dimitri Payet at Marseille according to a report from Foot Mercato.

The 28-year-old West Ham ace has suffered badly since rupturing his ACL in the build up to the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
Despite the odd glimpse of brilliance, Lanzini is just not the player he once was.
And with Hammers boss David Moyes thought to be keen on bolstering his summer transfer budget, the former River Plate man being sold this summer would be no surprise.

So could Manu, who earns £75k-a-week (Football League FC) be on the way out of the London Stadium?
Manuel Lanzini to reunite with Dimitri Payet?
Foot Mercato reckon that the 28-year-old West Ham ace is wanted by Marseille.
Payet left the Hammers over four years ago to join up with the Ligue 1 side.
And the way in which the Frenchman linked up with Manu during their time together at Upton Park and the London Stadium may well convince the South American that his future lies on France’s south coast.

It is suggested that Lanzini himself wants to leave and has already asked the French speaking players at West Ham about Marseille.
Now would be the right time to move him on. If the Hammers manage to get a decent fee for the 28-year-old of course.
Lanzini just hasn’t produced the goods regularly enough for David Moyes. Sure, injuries have played their part, and it would be sad to see Manu leave.
