The youngster has been on trial with the Hammers from Chelsea over the past few weeks.

It was initially thought that the two clubs may be too far apart regarding their respective valuations of the 19-year-old.

The teenager played two games for West Ham’s under-23 side and he really impressed in the deep lying midfield role.

Pierre Ekwah Elimby set to join West Ham?

ExWHUemployee reckons it’s just a matter of time before the 19-year-old swaps West London for East London.

“Pierre Ekwah Elimby who had been on trial at West Ham from Chelsea (exclusively revealed on the podcast), is hoping to secure a move to the club in the next few days. It was claimed that he could be lured to the London Stadium, but the cost of the deal may have been a problem. It looks like the two clubs have reached an agreement and he is due to sign in the next few days.”

Pierre Ekwah Elimby joined Chelsea for £1.8 million. Originally, West Ham were allegedly reluctant to pay that much for him (ExWHUemployee).

It seems as though the two clubs may have come to some kind of agreement, however.

The young Frenchman is clearly a top class talent. He’s exactly the kind of signing we should be looking to make. Especially with our deficiencies in central midfield.

And bringing Ekwah Elimby to the London Stadium may well end up looking like an absolute masterstroke from David Moyes.
