West Ham United ace Tomas Soucek has recently been linked with a move to Manchester United and his former manager Dusan Uhrin Jr has suggested that it wouldn’t surprise him to see the 25-year-old join a big club soon, when speaking to the BBC.

The Czech Republic ace joined the Hammers on loan from Slavia Prague in January 2020. His move to the London Stadium was then made permanent for around £15 million in the summer (Daily Mail).
Soucek has already proven to be a massive hit for West Ham.
He has scored 11 goals in 39 games for the Hammers (Transfermarkt). This season, he has eight Premier League goals to his name – more than any other midfielder when penalties are taken out of the equation.
The Czech Republic international is vitally important to the Hammers.
Manager tips Tomas Soucek for West Ham exit
The 25-year-old’s fine form in East London has not gone unnoticed. He has already been linked with a move too Manchester United (Football Insider).
And Soucek’s former boss Dusan Uhrin Jr told the BBC that he expects the powerful midfielder to join another Premier League club at some point:
“He is constantly improving, so why not? Who scores eight goals from his position? I wouldn’t expect a transfer to Bayern, but rather a team in England.”
It is little wonder why Soucek is attracting attention from some of Europe’s biggest clubs.
Bayern Munich are said to be interested in signing him as well (TEAMtalk).
West Ham need to do all they can to keep hold of Soucek, however. We need to offer him a big pay-rise and get him tied down to a new five or six-year deal. He is irreplaceable for us at the moment.
One thing in our favour is that Soucek clearly loves West Ham already. He seems like a lovely bloke as well. We need to just hope he’s loyal too.
Because if West Ham lose Soucek within the next 12 months, we could be in real trouble.
