The Bees could demand in excess of £20 million for the former Peterborough ace according to The Athletic.

And Toney would be a sensational addition for West Ham in the summer.

Ivan Toney enjoying incredible campaign

The 24-year-old has been the standout player in the Championship this season.

With 22 goals to his name in 28 league games for the Bees, he tops the goalscoring charts. Amazingly, he’s sitting at the top of the assists charts as well, having chalked up nine thus far (ESPN).

To top it all off, Brentford are currently sitting at the top of the Championship table, two points clear of second placed Norwich City.

It is no surprise that Toney has been receiving all of the plaudits. He has been superb for Brentford and looks more than ready to make the jump up to the Premier League.

The Bees striker has electric pace, is prolific in front of goal and is a real handful for opposing defenders.

If West Ham manage to pick him up for just £20 million in the summer it would be an absolutely steal.

It remains to be seen whether the Hammers will actually have any chance of sign Ivan Toney, however, especially if Brentford gain promotion to the Premier League.
