Spurs are flying high at the moment under the guidance of Antonio Conte, and as much as we might hate to admit it, they are a hugely attractive prospect to potential new signings.

Meanwhile, West Ham have made a woeful start to out 2022/23 campaign. David Moyes has so much work on his hands, if he is to turn things around and guide us back into the mix for the top six.

As things stand though, the Hammers are rock bottom of the Premier League table. And we think that could be a huge problem as Moyes chases Malinovskyi, with Tottenham sitting pretty near the top of the table…

Tottenham to challenge West Ham for Ruslan Malinovskyi

Calcio Mercato reckon that Spurs boss Antonio Conte hasn’t given up on bringing the 49-capped Ukraine international to north London this summer.

And what’s more, Fabrizio Romano has claimed that the 29-year-old dreams of joining Tottenham this summer.

He could be available for around £18 million according to The Express.

That sounds like an absolute bargain and is a lot less than the £30 million that was reported by Tutto Atalanta yesterday.

Ruslan Malinovskyi would be a sensational addition for whichever club wins the race for his signature this summer.

Malinovskyi has bagged 30 goals and 27 assists in 130 games for Atalanta (Transfermarkt). A goal involvement every 2.28 games isn’t bad at all.

The 29-year-old possesses outstanding technical ability and is really good when in possession of the football.

He has plenty of energy and possesses the ability to beat a man. He has an absolute rocket of a shot in his arsenal as well.

A couple of years ago, Chelsea legend Claude Makelele was trying to push the Ukrainian ace towards a move to Stamford Bridge, according to The Daily Mail.

So he clearly has something special about him.

Breaking The Lines describe the left-footed Ukraine international as an ‘incredible’ player.

Ruslan Malinovskyi dreaming of Tottenham will undoubtedly be a huge problem for West Ham.

And whether the Hammers are able to beat Spurs to the 29-year-old’s signature remains to be seen…
