Leeds United attacker Raphinha is reportedly wanted by West Ham United in the summer transfer window.

Hammers boss David Moyes wants to bring the 25-year-old Leeds star to the London Stadium from Elland Road at the end of this season according to Mundo Deportivo.

The Brazilian could cost as much as £60 million according to (Give me Sport).

West Ham desperately need to bolster our attacking ranks in the summer transfer window.

Moyes has been known to convert wingers into central strikers before and it would be no surprise if that is what he has in mind for Raphinha.

The Leeds ace’s £60 million price-tag will undoubtedly be a problem for West Ham though. And there is another potentially big issue as well…

Leeds star Raphinha joining West Ham this summer is unlikely

The 25-year-old winger is a hard man to manage.

According to a report from the Daily Mail, Raphinha clashed with ex-Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa before the Argentine was sacked due to being asked to fulfil his defensive responsibilities.

David Moyes is well-known for rigorously scouting players before he signs them. Not only does the Scot run his eye over potential signings from a technical perspective but he also does his homework on their characters.

The West Ham boss likes all of his attacking players to put in a defensive shift. ‘If you don’t run, you don’t play’ is Moyes’s mantra.

If the report about Raphinha and Bielsa having a bust-up is true, then the Hammers will surely go nowhere near the Leeds star.

His £60 million price-tags makes a summer transfer unlikely enough as it is.

And Raphinha and Bielsa exchanging words about his defensive responsibilities, or lack thereof, makes a move to West Ham from Leeds even more unlikely in the summer.
