Leeds could be set to beat West Ham to yet another transfer target.

It was reported earlier that Junior Firpo will choose the Whites over the Hammers (Get Spanish Football News quoting Spanish journalist Toni Juanmarti).
And there is more bad news for the West Ham fans.
Hammers boss David Moyes wants to bring Nahitan Nandez to the London Stadium this summer (ExWHUemployee and Centotrentuno).
La Nuova Sardegna now claims the 25-year-old midfielder is close to joining Leeds, however.
It is suggested that Whites boss Marcelo Bielsa has convinced the Leeds owners to part with €15 million to sign the Uruguay international on loan.

The West Yorkshire outfit will then have an obligation to buy Nandez for a further €15 million. That totals out at £25.7 million – outstanding value for a player with the 25-year-old’s quality.
Leeds beating West Ham to Nahitan Nandez a big blow
The Cagliari ace is so perfectly suited to the Premier League.
The 25-year-old averaged 1.8 tackles, 0.7 interceptions, 1.3 dribbles and 1.5 clearances in 32 Serie A appearances this season. He made 30.9 passes per game on average during those outings and recorded a completion rate of 77.7% (Who Scored).

Soccer Souls describe the tenacious, tough-tackling midfielder as ‘outstanding’.
So seeing him plying his trade at Elland Road next season will be a bitter pill to swallow for the West Ham fans.
The Hammers are in danger of getting left behind this summer. Many clubs in and around us in the Premier League appear to be strengthening their ranks considerably.
There’s still plenty of time left to put that right. But we’re leaving it late, that’s for sure.

Nandez would have been the ideal summer signing for West Ham. And Leeds seem to be on the verge of securing a really impressive signing ahead of the 2021/22 campaign.
