Leeds United are reportedly interested in signing West Ham United attacker this summer.

According to Football Transfers, Leeds are on the hunt for attacking reinforcements, and they could go shopping at West Ham in the summer transfer window for a solution to their forward deficiencies.

Leeds could now sign West Ham ace Michail Antonio this summer

Football Transfers reckon that Antonio is attracting strong interest from Leeds and Celtic in the summer transfer window.

I think that now is the best time for the Hammers and the 33-year-old forward to go their separate ways.

Antonio currently earns around £69k-a-week at West Ham according to Salary Sport, although Spotrac claim that he’s on £85k-a-week.

Getting those wages off the books at the London Stadium by selling Michail Antonio to Leeds should enable Moyes to bring in a big upgrade on the 33-year-old striker.

He has been a fine servant for us over the past eight years, but all good things come to an end. He has regressed over the past 12 months, there is absolutely no two ways about that.

With Scamacca having recently left, it will be crucial for Moyes to sign a top-class striker before he even thinks about letting the former Nottingham Forest man leave.

And as long as the Hammers boss does exactly that, I will have no issues with Antonio being sold this summer.
