It could be Kurt Zouma out and Man United outcast Harry Maguire in at West Ham in January as a report makes a series of big claims.
The saga regarding Manchester United defender Harry Maguire and West Ham is far from over it seems.
Yesterday we reported on Maguire’s comments in an England press conference where he called West Ham “a massive club”.
The centre-back spoke out to insist he was never given the opportunity to join the Hammers because an agreement was never properly reached between Man United, West Ham and the player himself.
David Moyes spent most of the summer window pursuing Maguire and reports claimed a £30m deal was agreed. But the Red Devils reportedly failed to agree a satisfactory severance with their fifth-choice central defender.

Now a move to West Ham could be very much back on against the backdrop of refuted claims regarding Hammers skipper Kurt Zouma.
A reporter close to David Sullivan rejected claims Zouma was set to be handed a new West Ham contract and cited concerns over his history of knee injuries.
And it could be Zouma out and Man United outcast Maguire in at West Ham in January as a report makes a series of big claims.
According to 90min, Zouma was a target for Saudi Pro League clubs in the summer. That aligns with the league’s reported aim to target leading Muslim footballers such as Zouma and Liverpool’s Mo Salah.
The report claims that West Ham told Saudi clubs they would have to wait until January at the earliest to sign Zouma.

And it states that West Ham still want to sign Maguire from Man United with a move now possibly being resurrected in the winter window.
“90min understands that clubs in the Saudi Pro League identified Zouma as a potential target in the summer, but it was made clear that they would have to wait until January at the earliest for a deal to even be considered…” the report states.
“90min further understands that West Ham remain interested in signing Manchester United’s Harry Maguire.”
That would suit Maguire, who will be looking to play regular first team football in the build-up to next summer European Championships with England.
With the top source at West Ham emphatically stating the club are in no hurry to extend Zouma’s deal and highlighting concerns over his knees, this deal really could be on the cards it seems.
