Julen Lopetegui is plotting a stunning move to sign a truly top-class midfielder for West Ham this summer.
The West Ham fans are crying out for new signings, and it’s clear to see that Julen Lopetegui is trying his best to make that happen.
Tim Steidten seems to be intent on signing Brazilians this summer, with Carlos Miguel the latest name to be linked with a move to the London Stadium.
Lopetegui and Steidten need to ensure that they bring in at least six or seven new faces this summer, with pretty much every single position at West Ham in need of urgent attention.

Central midfield is an area where the Hammers boss needs to bolster, with more competition and cover required for Edson Alvarez.
Aleix Garcia of Girona is thought to be a key target for West Ham, with the club apparently prepared to pay around £14 million to sign him, as well as provide him with a £65k-a-week contract.
With Flynn Downes being heavily linked with a move to Southampton, it’s no surprise that Lopetegui wants to add a top-class defensive midfielder to his ranks.
And Garcia could well be the man for the job…
Julen Lopetegui meets Aleix Garcia as West Ham make move
The Girona ace is being chased by the Hammers and Bayer Leverkusen this summer.
Whilst the Bundesliga side are said to be favourites for his signature, West Ham are still well in the race.
Fabrizio Romano has provided an update on Garcia’s current situation, claiming that Lopetegui has been involved in presenting the West Ham project to the Spanish midfielder:
Aleix Garcia would be a sensational addition for West Ham, if Julen Lopetegui does indeed manage to bring him to the London Stadium.
The Spaniard is an exceptional deep-lying midfielder. He has a wonderful range of passing and is incredibly press-resistant, what with his composure in possession.
The Girona star would be a truly outstanding signing for the Hammers, so I’d really like to see David Sullivan, Steidten and Lopetegui pushing the boat out for this one.
Beating Leverkusen to the signing of Garcia will obviously not be straightforward though, considering the fact that they have Champions League football on offer at the BayArena.
Hopefully Lopetegui has sold a move to West Ham for the Girona ace though. The Hammers are still a massive club, and it seems like we’re on the cusp of an exciting future.
Whether that will be enough to sway the 26-year-old in his decision remains to be seen though.
