Dynamo Kyiv want West Ham United attacker Andriy Yarmolenko back at the club according to football journalist Pedro Almeida.

The 31-year-old joined the Hammers from Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2018 for around £18 million (Football Insider).

The 92-capped Ukraine international has failed to live up to expectations since moving to the London Stadium, however.

Yarmolenko has shown glimpses of his quality. Overall, however, he hasn’t been a great signing for West Ham.

The Ukrainian is the highest paid player at the London Stadium. Getting his huge wages off our books would be a wise move this summer.

ExWHUemployee recently claimed that Yarmo’s future is up in the air at the moment.

Football journalist Pedro Almeida has claimed that Yarmolenko is wanted by his former club Dynamo Kyiv:

Now, Almeida has a history of being bang on the money, usually with transfers involving Portuguese and Brazilian sides.

So it will be interesting to see how this one plays out.

Yarmolenko is very technically gifted. It could be argued that he quite simply isn’t suited to the Premier League, however.

And selling the 31-year-old this summer would be a smart move from West Ham.
