Journalist claims West Ham have been offered Diego Costa

Tancredi Palmeri – a football correspondent for beIN Sports, has claimed that West Ham have been offered the chance to sign Diego Costa.

As things stand, the Hammers look set to head into the second half of the season with just one senior centre-forward.

Things may well change on late in the window, however.

As the clock continues to tick down, some encouraging news has just broken.

West Ham offered Diego Costa

Respected beIN Sports journalist Tancredi Palmeri has claimed that Diego Costa has been offered to West Ham.

The 32-year-old would certainly do a job for the Hammers.

He isn’t the player he once was, but bringing the Spaniard to the London Stadium would certainly be better than not signing anyone.

Costa has a fine record during his time in the game. He has scored 191 goals in 498 games games for club and country (Transfermarkt). The striker has also won two Premier League titles.

The former Chelsea ace is aggressive, powerful and relishes the physical battle that the Premier League presents.

Diego Costa would make a huge difference for West Ham between now and the end of the season. Whether we can get a deal for the Spain international over the line before the transfer window slams shut, however remains to be seen.
