The 25-year-old has been an absolute revelation since joining the Hammers from Slavia Prague initially on loan this time last year.
West Ham then made the 29-capped Czech Republic international’s loan move a permanent one in the summer for around £18.5 million (WHUFC.com).

Soucek has been pivotal to the Hammers’ resurgence this season.
The former Slavia Prague ace has racked up 10 goals in 35 games for the East London outfit (Transfermarkt) – an incredible return for a central midfielder.
The Czech star, who earns £45k-a-week according to Football League FC, has also scored seven goals this season.
Gary Neville a huge fan of Tomas Soucek
One real worry for Hammers fans is that the 25-year-old will be ran into the ground due to our lack of depth in central midfield. Let’s just hope that doesn’t end up being the case.
Gary Neville raved about Tomas Soucek, when speaking on Sky Sports yesterday (Sunday, January 31st, 16:29):

“I’ve been here a number of times this season. Every time I see him move into the box, he wreaks havoc when the ball is played in from wide areas.”
Soucek had a rare off day against Liverpool yesterday.
Aside from that, however, he has rarely had a bad game for West Ham United.
The Czech ace has been an absolutely incredible addition for the Hammers. His energy levels and tireless running are infectious.
He is easily worth £50 million plus now. Let’s just hope that we manage to keep him at the London Stadium for the remainder of his career.
