A football journalist has claimed an amazing triple West Ham transfer swoop is ‘still very much alive’ after the Jesse Lingard failure.
After more than a year chasing Lingard – and having reportedly been on the verge of finally sealing the deal – West Ham’s pursuit of a reunion looks set to end in tears.
It appears Lingard is set to choose a more lucrative contract at Nottingham Forest over a return to the London Stadium.

Journalist claims amazing triple West Ham transfer swoop is ‘still very much alive’ after Jesse Lingard failure
The news has not gone down well with West Ham fans after exciting moves for Armando Broja, Gianluca Scamacca and Amadou Onana hit a brick wall this week too.
But ‘it is not all gloom and doom’ for West Ham and frustrated boss David Moyes.
That’s according to Daily Express football reporter Ryan Taylor.

Because the journalist claims amazing that triple West Ham transfer swoop is still very much alive after the Lingard failure.
“Not all doom and gloom for West Ham though (after Lingard failure),” Taylor said on Twitter.
“Deals for Armando Broja (negotiations ongoing with #CFC), Gianluca Scamacca and Amadou Onana still very much alive, although work to be done.”
Thank goodness for some positive news.

There is no denying this has been a hugely frustrating week for everyone connected with West Ham.
On Monday a host of reliable sources were claiming the Hammers were closing on signing the likes of Broja.
So it is understandable Moyes’ frustrations boiled over with his transfer ultimatum to the Hammers board following the defeat to Rangers.
West Ham’s squad is looking seriously light on quality and depth, particularly up front and in midfield.

There has also been some more positive news today from Italy where reports claim West Ham are in ‘concrete talks’ for a top Serie A attacker.
If West Ham can get a deal agreed for Broja or Scamacca and Onana it would completely change the complexion of this transfer window.
Sign all three and suddenly the Hammers could be a real force again next season even if it is without Lingard.
