A journalist has announced a winner between Spurs and West Ham in the transfer race for striker Timo Werner.
West Ham and fierce rivals Tottenham Hotspur are both looking to sign a striker in the January transfer window.
And it has been reported that the Hammers and Spurs have a mutual interest in RB Leipzig outcast Timo Werner.
The likes of 90min claimed Werner is interesting West Ham and Tottenham among other clubs.

Journalist announces winner in race for striker Werner
Having sold Harry Kane, Tottenham are struggling for a regular source of goals. Meanwhile Hammers boss David Moyes has publicly admitted he wants to find a new forward too.
Earlier this week German outlet Fussball Transfers stated Leipzig will not stand in the way of Werner if the likes of West Ham or Spurs do indeed make a move to sign him this month.
Well there’s been a huge development on that front it seems.
Because a journalist has announced a winner between Spurs and West Ham in the race for striker Werner.

Finding Timo
And Tottenham have “beaten” West Ham to the former Chelsea flop according to Sky Sports Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg.
In an exclusive, Plettenberg claims Werner is set to join Ange Postecoglou’s side in a six-month loan deal as negotiations enter the final stages between Tottenham and Leipzig over any option to buy.
“Exclusive news: Timo Werner: he’s on the verge to join Spurs on a six-months-loan! It’s very hot!” Plettenberg said.
“Leipzig and Tottenham in final negotiations today.
“More details have to be clarified (option to buy). The 27 y/o is ready to leave the training camp of RB Leipzig soon.”
If West Ham were – as reported – truly interested in Werner then it seems they will have to look elsewhere.
The Hammers have also been linked with PSG outcast Hugo Ekitike, who looks the club’s most likely striker signing according to transfer reporter Rudy Galetti speaking exclusively to Hammers News this week.
