Jose Mourinho could derail West Ham United’s plan to sign Cologne ace Ellyes Skhiri according to a report from BILD.

The Roma boss allegedly wants to bring the 26-year-old powerhouse to the Italian capital this summer.

That is obviously a big blow for the Hammers.

West Ham boss David Moyes is keen to bring Skhiri to the London Stadium according to a report from BILD.

The Tunisia international would be an exceptional addition for the Hammers. He literally has everything Moyes looks for in a player.

Skhiri is an absolute animal in midfield. He’s a hard worker and does not stop running.

The 26-year-old covered more distance and made more tackles than any other player in Germany’s top flight last season according to the Bundesliga’s official website.

Standing at 6ft 1in tall, he cuts an imposting figure and would make West Ham even more dangerous from set-pieces.

Jose Mourinho signing Ellyes Skhiri would be a big blow for the Hammers

If the Portuguese brings the Cologne ace to Roma it would really hurt West Ham.

Moyes has the opportunity to bring the 26-year-old to East London for just £13 million (BILD).

That really is an incredible bargain.

Hopefully Skhiri is keen to play in the Premier League rather than Serie A.

Mourinho’s alleged interest in the Tunisian is certainly an unwelcome inconvenience for West Ham, however.
